As a Markets Audit Vice President, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, executing and reporting the results of internal audits of controls.
- Focus on both Front Office and Global Markets Operations areas
- Provide input to the risk assessments and approaches in relation to conduct topics; partner across audit teams globally (in particular Compliance) to ensure comprehensive audit coverage and integrated approach to key risk topics
- Proactively develops and maintains professional working relationships; communicates openly with management and the internal stakeholders, and escalates problems/delays promptly.
Ideally, you will have the following expertise:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience of Commercial Banking or Markets businesses, working in Internal or External Audit or within a Risk Function.
- Experience of Front Office ( e.g. trade booking and amendment validation, lifecycle events management) or Global Markets Operations activities (e.g. client on-boarding, trade affirmation, trade confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, NFRR, Corporate Actions etc).
- Sound organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into usable information.
- Ability to coach, mentor and manage a team of junior auditors to progress their careers as well as execute audits efficiently, effectively and timely with sound audit conclusions
- Ability to work in a very detailed manner as well as to look broadly across a population and develop connections and themes identifying risk and concerns.
