Senior Manager / Director – Forensic Accounting (Investigations)
A leading professional services firm is expanding its forensic investigations capability and is seeking an experienced forensic accountant at Senior Manager or Director level to play a key role in the next phase of growth.
This is a standout opportunity for a commercially minded investigations specialist to work on complex, high-profile matters while helping to shape and grow a market-leading forensic practice.
The Role
You will lead and deliver a wide range of forensic investigations, including fraud, financial misconduct, disputes, and regulatory matters. Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and legal teams, you’ll take ownership of engagements from scoping through to reporting and, where required, expert witness support.
In addition to case delivery, you’ll contribute to practice development, mentor junior team members, and help build long-term client and referrer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex forensic investigations and dispute-related assignments
  • Analyse financial data, reconstruct records, and identify irregularities
  • Prepare clear, defensible reports for clients, lawyers, regulators, and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with legal advisers and senior client management
  • Support business development and the continued growth of the forensic team
  • Coach and develop junior forensic professionals
About You
  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Significant experience in forensic accounting with a strong focus on investigations
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware, inquisitive, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Prior experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level (or ready to step up)
