Senior Internal Auditor
📍 Barcelona or Madrid, Spain | Hybrid Working
We're partnering with a leading international organisation in the maritime, logistics, and port operations sector to recruit an experienced Senior Internal Auditor.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global Internal Audit function, working closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen governance, improve processes, and support business growth.
What you'll be doing:
✔ Lead operational and financial audits across international business units.
✔ Assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and recommend practical improvements.
✔ Use data analytics to enhance audit effectiveness and monitoring.
✔ Partner with business leaders to implement corrective actions and share best practices.
✔ Support compliance, governance, and ethical business standards.
What we're looking for:
✅ 4-5 years' experience in Audit & at least 1 working in Internal Audit in industry.
✅ Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, IFRS, IIA Standards, and COSO..
✅ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Fluent English (C1) is essential; Spanish is an advantage.
✅ Willingness to travel approximately 25%
