Our partner is seeking an experienced .NET WPF Developer to support the development, maintenance, and modernisation of desktop applications within a critical operational environment. The role involves working on applications that contribute to real-time decision-making and system stability in a high-reliability context.

- Develop and maintain desktop applications using WPF and .NET.
- Modernise and rewrite legacy applications built on older .NET frameworks.
- Design and implement clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and product stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical design and improvement of existing systems.
- Ensure application performance, stability, and usability in production environments.
- Work either independently or as part of a structured development team.
- Strong experience with C# and .NET development.
- Solid expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
- Experience with desktop application architecture and lifecycle.
- Ability to refactor and modernize legacy .NET applications.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and clean code practices.
- Experience working on large-scale or enterprise applications.
- Exposure to mission-critical or high-reliability systems.
- Experience working in both independent and team-based environments.
- Familiarity with backend integration (e.g., APIs, messaging systems).
- Combination of independent and collaborative development work.
