Machine Learning Engineer
An AI/ML mid/late-stage start-up developing software for self-driving cars is looking to further scale their engineering function across the US. They are harnessing AI/ML to create software which will allow self-driving cars to accurately navigate surroundings whilst ensuring safety is built into every step of the process.
The business has a strong physical preference in San Francisco as well as having remote workers across the US.
They are looking to hire a strong Machine Learning Engineer to architect, code and tune their large-scale ML models.
Responsibilities:

They are looking to hire a strong Machine Learning Engineer to architect, code and tune their large-scale ML models.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of large scale machine learning models including the design, building and tuning of models.
- Play a key role is shaping the future direction of their AI/ML teams.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, product and design functions within the business.
- Mentor junior members of the team
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Mathematics or similar fields.
- Previous experience building and operating large scale AI/ML systems is preferred.
- 5+ working in a modern software engineering environment.
- Experience with key ML technologies for example Theano or Torch.
