Lead Cloud Architect - Azure
Apollo Solutions have partnered with a global financial services company based in the Netherlands, who are seeking an Interim Head Of Cloud & Architecture (Freelancer) to help grow and manage their existing 20+ strong Infrastructure team.
They are currently undergoing a digital transformation project of taking VMs into a modern cloud based environment.
As part of this role you will be involved in the design, architecture and build work of greenfield infrastructure as well as migrating existing infrastructure into the cloud.
You will be an advocate for DevOps best practises, defining SLA/SLOs and building world class observability infrastructure

Your Opportunity
- Design and develop cutting edge computing infrastructure in a modern cloud environment - Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Configure infrastructure via IaC - Terraform
- Building and setting up pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Design and develop observability and monitoring solutions to optimize the product and end user experience.
- Leverage cutting edge technologies to ensure CI/CD.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working in a DevOps/SRE/Platforms/Infrastructure roles at a technology driven organization
- Experience with migration projects is a plus, but a candidate should have experience with the Azure cloud platform.
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience using Linux
- Experience with IaaC such as Terraform,Pulumi
- Experience with Cloud technologies - Ideally Azure
- Experience with networking concepts is a plus
