Internal IT Auditor

Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
We are recruiting for an IT Audit Manager to join a well-established international consumer goods business. With a strong presence across multiple markets and a people-focused culture, this organisation continues to invest in technology, governance and risk management to support its ongoing growth.
Key responsibilities
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to define the IT risk universe and develop a risk-based IT audit plan
• Lead and continuously improve the IT audit methodology, promoting best practice and consistency across the organisation
• Deliver a broad range of IT audit and risk reviews, working with internal teams and external providers
• Incorporate data analytics into audit activities to enhance insight and assurance
• Design and execute IT audit programmes that assess business, operational and regulatory risks
• Provide IT risk guidance and subject matter expertise for projects, system implementations and business change initiatives
• Lead IT investigations and post-incident reviews, helping strengthen controls and improve risk management processes
Requirements
• At least 3 years' experience in IT Audit, IT Assurance, IT Risk or IT Security
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL or accountancy qualifications would be beneficial
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret large volumes of data while maintaining a risk-focused perspective
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Ability to build effective working relationships, influence outcomes and manage sensitive information professionally
• Sound commercial judgement, high ethical standards and a practical, value-focused approach
