Exciting freelance opportunity with a leading energy infrastructure partner! We're looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to help migrate high-traffic corporate websites to the modern Sitecore XM Cloud platform.

Logistics:
- Position: Freelance Front-End Developer
- Duration: 12-Month Contract (strong likelihood of extension)
- Location: Brussels (Hybrid –2 days a week)
- Languages: English AND French or Dutch
- Start Date: ASAP
- Day Rate: €(Negotiable & Competitive)
Core Responsibilities:
- Migrate corporate websites to Sitecore XM Cloud
- Develop and deploy applications using Next.js integrated with Sitecore JSS
- Implement SSR, CSR, and ISG strategies for performance and SEO
- Design and integrate micro-frontend architectures using techniques like module federation or single-spa
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and performance optimization
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on a high-impact green energy project
Essential Skills:
- Deep expertise with Sitecore XM Cloud (SaaS architecture, deployment models, Experience Manager)
- Strong experience in Next.js with Sitecore JSS integration
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (React, Vue, Angular)
- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with micro-frontends
- Solid understanding of accessibility (semantic HTML, ARIA, screen reader compatibility)
- Version control proficiency (Git)
- Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and container registries
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA)
- Knowledge of Sitecore Content Hub and XP
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines for Sitecore deployments
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Understanding of Sitecore indexing/search, Connect, and performance tuning
- Testing frameworks for Sitecore and Next.js
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Advanced CDN practices (e.g. edge computing, security)
