Job Description:
The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic ESG Manager to join its UK team. This role requires:
- At least 7 years of experience in Management Consulting and/or the Big 4 accountancy firms.
- A strong academic background with a post-graduate degree in an analytical field.
- Proven ability to manage teams and clients.
- Responsibility for expanding the ESG offering in the UK, with a strong interest in ESG and collaboration with existing specialists to support clients.
- Understanding of various bank functions, including credit risk, financial planning, and reporting.
- Knowledge of current regulatory requirements relating to ESG, local regulations, and other frameworks (SDGs, TCFD, Sustainable Finance).
- The ability to work independently and quickly become familiar with new topics.
- Experience in areas such as:
- Integration of ESG in strategy and bank steering
- Climate Risk Stress Testing
- Calculation of emissions (PACTA)
- Development of Decarbonization targets (SBTi / PACTA)
- Preparation of regulatory disclosure (Pillar 3) or non-financial reporting (TCFD, ISSB)
