About the Role We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join a leading banking client in Belgium. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into functional and technical requirements.
You will contribute to key transformation initiatives, regulatory projects, and digital innovation programs within a highly regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on existing systems
• Collaborate closely with IT, architects, and development teams
• Support testing activities, including UAT coordination
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards
• Contribute to process optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in banking or financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing functional specifications and process documentation
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of banking products, payments, lending, or regulatory processes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven projects
• Knowledge of data analysis or SQL
• BPMN or process modelling experience
• French or Dutch language skills
