Business Architect (Contract) – Utilities Sector
Location: Belgium (Hybrid)
Duration: Initial contract with extension potential
Start Date: ASAP
We are working with a leading utilities partner in Belgium who is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support key transformation initiatives across their organisation.
This is a high impact role operating at a transversal level, shaping business architecture across multiple domains and aligning strategy with execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and evolve the business architecture across core utility domains
  • Work across business units to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
  • Translate business strategy into actionable capabilities and operating models
  • Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure consistency
  • Drive stakeholder engagement at senior levels and communicate effectively across the organisation
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Architect within large, complex environments
  • Strong background in the utilities sector (energy, water, or similar)
  • Experience working on transversal / cross-functional transformation programmes
  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining a pragmatic delivery focus
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF or similar)
  • Experience working in regulated environments
