A senior opportunity within an internal audit function, supporting independent assurance across cloud and cyber security risk.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to planning and delivery of cloud and cyber security audits across complex technology environments.
- Assess risks, design and execute assurance testing, and evaluate control effectiveness.
- Identify and report clear, actionable audit observations to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory, industry and threat trends to inform audit focus and insights.
- Proven experience in cyber security risk and control assessment within audit or assurance roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including misconfiguration risks, containers, serverless, and cloud storage.
- Hands-on experience testing areas such as IAM, data security, network security, incident response, vulnerability and threat management, and cyber resilience.
- Understanding of hybrid IT architectures, emerging technology risks, and relevant cyber frameworks (e.g. NIST, CIS, ISO).
- Relevant professional certification (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP) or equivalent experience.
- Financial services background and awareness of regulatory expectations.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, threat modelling, and delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to data analytics or scripting to support audit activity.
