Are you an experienced security professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for designing resilient, future-proof architectures? We are looking for an Enterprise Security Architect to join our team in Brussels and lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide security architecture frameworks.
About the Role As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will define, design, and oversee the implementation of security architecture across business and technology domains. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, IT, and risk stakeholders, ensuring that security is embedded by design across digital transformation initiatives.
Your Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise security architecture strategy and roadmap
• Develop security reference architectures, standards, and design principles
• Ensure security-by-design across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Align security architecture with business objectives and risk appetite
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments for major initiatives
• Integrate cybersecurity, data protection, and resilience requirements into enterprise architecture
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to embed secure design practices
• Monitor emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory developments

Your Profile

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in security architecture
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SABSA, etc.)
• Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP), zero trust, IAM, and network security architectures
• Solid understanding of risk management and governance principles
• Experience in regulated environments (financial services, public sector, critical infrastructure) is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English (French or Dutch is an asset)
