Key Responsibilities:
- Data Architecture & Engineering – Design, develop, and implement scalable data platforms on Azure
- Azure Expertise – Work with Azure Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and other Azure Data Services
- ETL & Data Pipelines – Build robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines using best-in-class tools
- Presales & Client Engagement – Work closely with clients to understand their needs, shape solutions, and contribute to proposals and bids
- Team Leadership – Mentor and lead data engineering teams, ensuring best practices and high standards
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with business leaders, architects, and analysts to drive data-driven decision-making
- Innovation & Best Practices – Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to internal thought leadership
Must-Have:
- Extensive Azure experience, including Azure Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, Inmon Data Mart and other data services
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL, and data transformation
- Experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures
- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in presales activities, including solution shaping, proposal writing, and client presentations
- Passion for working with cloud technologies and driving data innovation
