The Principal Auditor reports directly to the Manager, Internal Audit and is primarily responsible for guiding the financial, operational, business process, or compliance audit toward successful completion.

What you will be doing as a Principal Auditor:
  • Assure effective and efficient audit coverage by the audit team within accepted auditing standards and established deadlines.
  • Identify business objectives and risks and evaluate key controls.
  • Determine or assist in determining the objective, scope, and general plan of the assigned audit
  • Identify opportunities for the use of data analytics to improve audit productivity and coverage
  • Effectively coach the audit team members to ensure the successful completion of the audit objectives, and achievement
  • Assist VP of Internal Audit in maintaining visibility with Audit management

Skills You’ll Need:
  • A degree in accounting, finance or other business related field.
  • 5 plus years of qualified audit or business process experience.
  • Relevant certification (such as CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze business processes to recognize internal control, financial, and operational problems
  • Interact with Company management and key personnel to build / maintain ongoing business relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
