Telecoms Manager, Call Manager, VOIP, Reports, Installation, BAU, Department moves 

A leading auction house is seeking a Telecoms Manager who can maintain, support and implement new services across multiple sites 

Overview of role: 

Assist the Telecommunications Manager with the operational running of the Department and Services 

To support the outsourced Client Care Program on a day to day basis 

Respond to all queries 

Daily programming of the Cisco call manager VOIP system 

Daily software programming of the Ericsson telephone system and the department’s phones facilities (moves and changes) as requested 

Organise new Telephone installations and department moves. Liaise with the Electricians to complete the work 

Daily programming of the voicemail system includes adding, deleting mailboxes and re-setting security codes. Provide voicemail instruction for new Staff 

Programming and reporting of system faults of the Fax sever 

System faults – report faults to the appropriate supplier Damovo, COLT, BT, Connect or Tiger 

Record faults in the fault log 

Telephone faults. Respond to faults reported by email or to the telephone helpline – 4000 

Report to the Electricians who will change the equipment. Send faulty telephone handsets for repair 

Supervise the Electricians setting up the Telephone lines in the for the Live sessions and act as first line support in the saleroom for any faults, this may include attending up to 10 evening sales per year 

Update and maintain the Outlook address book for European Users. Update and maintain the European Staff Directories, both on line -Intranet & hardcopy. Update and maintain the global Senior Staff Directory and organise printing of hard copies as required 

Be prepared to act as first line support to iPhone users 

Update and improve the internal Telecoms intranet page 

Skills required: 
Experiences with Cisco call manager and the ability to complete moves and changes on the system. 
Excellent customer facing service skills with a polite telephone manner
